A Community Edition section is further down the same page.
For the Community Edition, the page asks for "Docker installed and running."
For its AWS option, the Community Edition section says: "It must of minimum t3.medium/t3a.medium".
Community Edition CPU and RAM: not stated, apart from that instance type.
The Commercial Edition prerequisites are below. They do not describe the AGPL edition.

  • Commercial Edition CPU: "2 cores (x64/AMD64 or AArch64/ARM64)"
  • Commercial Edition RAM: "4GB (8GB recommended for production)"
  • Commercial Edition OS: "Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Amazon Linux 2 or 2023, macOS, Windows with WSL2"

Disk: not stated.

Docker or Docker Compose

The official guide is Docker Compose.
The first part of that page installs the Commercial Edition. The Community Edition steps are further down.
The doc says a "Pro, Business, or Enterprise Grid license key unlocks the paid features."

Hosting options

A Railway template for Plane is at railway.com/deploy/plane, created by Heimdall.
It shows "Total Projects 198".
It runs the Community image makeplane/plane-aio-community:stable.
The Community Edition RAM figure is not stated, so it cannot be checked against the Railway Free plan.
The Commercial Edition 4GB RAM is above the Free limit of "0.5 GB RAM per service".
