Short answer
MPL-2.0 works file by file. If you share a file that is under MPL-2.0, including your changes to it, that file stays under MPL-2.0 (section 3.1). Your own separate files in a larger work can use terms you choose (section 3.3).

What the license allows
- You can use, change, share and sell the code (section 2.1).
- If you share MPL-2.0 files, including your changes to them, those files stay under MPL-2.0. If you share them in compiled form, their source code must also be available (sections 3.1 and 3.2).
- You can combine those files with other code in a larger work and share that work under terms you choose, as long as the MPL-2.0 files still follow this license (section 3.3).
What counts as a changed file
The license defines "Modifications" in section 1.10. It covers a changed MPL-2.0 file, and also "any new file in Source Code Form that contains any Covered Software".
Notices
Section 3.4 says you may not remove or alter the substance of any license notices in the Source Code Form of the Covered Software, such as copyright notices and disclaimers of warranty. The one exception in that section is that you may alter license notices "to the extent required to remedy known factual inaccuracies".
